RM5 Million Allocated To Develop Paddy Field Project In Pusa
PUSA: The Muton Kara area, Undai will see new development in the agricultural sector through a RM5 million allocation to develop a paddy field project.
According to Beting Maro Assemblyman Dato Razaili Gapor, the initiative is not only to increase paddy production in the area, but is also an effort to strengthen the local economy through various agricultural-based resources.
"Through various agricultural-based resources in the area, Beting Maro is suitable as a place to produce local produce and products for Sarawak," he said when speaking at the Christmas and New Year's Eve Celebration Programme at the Muton Kara longhouse, Undai, here, Tuesday.
He added that his party will plan programmes and activities for the coming year to strengthen the economy of the Beting Maro area and increase income.
Meanwhile, Dato Razaili said that Sarawak is fortunate to have various races, various prides and ethnicities able to live in peace, harmony and prosperity.
Therefore, he called on the people of Beting Maro to maintain their culture and continue to improve their standard of living with various programmes and constantly change their lives to achieve future goals.
“If we unite, we can achieve progress and Sarawak can continue to achieve a high income,” he stressed. -UKASnews
