KUCHING: The Sarawak Centre of Performance Excellence Sdn Bhd (SCOPE) applications are now open for the Graduates Enhancement Training Sarawak (GETS) – Workplace Readiness Programme (WRP) intake for March and April 2026.
According to a statement, the GETS-WRP is a structured, industry-driven programme designed to enhance the employability of Sarawak graduates by equipping them with essential workplace competencies, practical skills, and professional exposure.
“The programme forms part of Sarawak’s ongoing efforts to strengthen graduate readiness and support talent development in line with the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.
“Following strong participation and positive outcomes from earlier cohorts, the remaining intakes in March and April 2026 will focus on preparing graduates for immediate workforce entry through a combination of workplace readiness and employability skills training, professional communication and work ethics, soft skills development, and industry engagement and placement opportunities,” it said on Wednesday.
According to SCOPE, the March and April 2026 intakes represent the final opportunity for graduates to participate in the current GETS-WRP cycle, making it a timely call for eligible Sarawak graduates to apply.
SCOPE Chief Executive Officer Joseph Lim said that the GETS Workplace Readiness Programme continues to play a critical role in bridging the gap between academic learning and workplace expectations.
“We encourage eligible graduates to take advantage of the upcoming intakes and prepare themselves for meaningful employment opportunities,” he said.
The programme is open to Sarawakian graduates, with priority given to those who are unemployed.
Upon completion of the training component, participants will be considered for placement with participating employers, subject to availability and suitability.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early, as places are limited for the March and April 2026 intakes. -UKASnews
