KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has achieved a five-star rating with a full score of 100% in the Malaysian Public University Data Collection System (MyMoheS) assessment for data ending 31 December 2025.
This achievement was announced during the Data Quality Meeting No. 1/2026 held at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Melaka recently.
MyMoheS, introduced by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE), aims to assess the readiness level of higher education institutions in aspects of information delivery systems as well as the management and storage of data related to students, staff, research, and the institution.
This rating is implemented based on criteria and characteristics set by the ministry, encompassing Submission Timing (20%), Data Completeness (40%), and Data Quality (40%).
This "gold standard" recognition not only proves the authority of the university's governance but also boosts UNIMAS' credibility at national and international levels as an institution with high data integrity. This positive image directly assists in attracting more collaborators and prospective students, proving that UNIMAS is an institution driven by recognised administrative excellence.
With robust database management, UNIMAS will be supported in planning for future requirements, ensuring the university remains relevant and competitive for the decade to come.
This achievement is a testimonial to the culture of excellence at UNIMAS, which is fully prepared to face the challenges of digital transformation through outstanding data management.
The University records its highest appreciation and congratulations to all parties involved directly or indirectly, particularly the Data Owners, SQRC as the UNIMAS MyMoheS Coordinator, and TAHODC as the technical group, for their continuous commitment and cooperation until this success was achieved. - UKASnews
