Datuk Sebastian Ting Committed To Development & Welfare In Piasau
MIRI: Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising development and community welfare within the Piasau constituency.
The Piasau Assemblyman emphasised that this priority is essential to ensure his constituents are well-supported and can enjoy balanced, sustainable growth.
"I have visited the villages within the Piasau state constituency many times and deeply understand the conditions and needs of the local community," he stated.
He made these remarks during the Ramadan Compassion Contribution Programme, which included the distribution of bubur lambuk and an Iftar (breaking of fast) session with leaders held at Kampung Tudan Desaras Phase 6 on Thursday.
During his speech, he expressed his gratitude to community leaders and voters for their ongoing cooperation and support in advancing local development. He noted that this close collaboration has helped foster a more united and harmonious community across the villages in Piasau.
As part of the programme, 33 recipients from Kampung Tudan Desaras Phase 6 received essential items to help alleviate their financial burden ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations. — UKASnews
