KUCHING: Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) has urged the public remain cautious of unverified or false information regarding the company’s recruitment and career opportunities received through unofficial sources.

According to the company, all applications for career and internship opportunities are conducted through its official online portal at https://careers.petroleumsarawak.com/.

PETROS also reaffirmed its commitment to developing local talent in building a skilled and competent workforce.

“We continue to invest in local talent development to cultivate a skilled and competent workforce that will drive Sarawak’s growth,” it said in an announcement posted on the company’s official portal.

Meanwhile, in a report by Sarawak Tribune, PETROS warned the public about a fake employment letter circulating on social media, which purportedly linked the company to the recruitment of foreign workers.

PETROS clarified that the document is not genuine and did not originate from the company. -UKASnews
