Sarawak Governor & Wife Engage With Sebuyau Community During Friendly Visit
SEBUYAU: The Governor of Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi spent time engaging with the local community during a friendly visit to Sebuyau on Sunday morning.
The programme, which began as early as 7:00 am, started with a breakfast session with local residents, community leaders and government officials.
Before the breakfast session commenced, Sarawak Minister for Utility and Telecommunication and Sebuyau Assemblyman Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi who was also in attendance, presented a commemorative souvenir to Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi as a token of appreciation for his official visit to the Sebuyau District.
Accompanied by Dato Sri Julaihi, the couple also interacted with the local community and took the time to visit stalls and food outlets around Sebuyau Town.
The visit provided an opportunity for Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi to interact closely with traders and residents, while personally observing the atmosphere and economic activities of the local community.
Throughout the session, he had the chance to exchange greetings and listen to the community's views regarding current developments in the district.
Following the conclusion of the breakfast programme, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and his wife continued their official journey to the Sebuyau Jetty Terminal before departing for Lingga to attend their next programme.-UKASnews
