KUCHING: Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol received a courtesy call from the Sarawak Consumer Association (PPS) at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex on Tuesday.

The courtesy call was led by its Vice Chairman Bertrand Lian alongside other members of the organisation.

Their presence was to seek his insights and advice, particularly regarding upcoming events to be organised by them this year, especially from a publicity standpoint.

When met by reporters, Bertrand shared that his side will establish a strategic cooperation with the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) in an effort to further expand their upcoming initiatives.

"This is our strategy to become one of the strategic partners," he explained.

He also expressed his appreciation to Datuk Abdullah for taking the time to share his views on their future steps, particularly regarding the direction of the organisation.
