PERTH: The Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (SIDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Murdoch University in Perth, Australia to strengthen their partnership.

The MOU exchange was witnessed by Sarawak’s Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD), Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn while leading the delegation on the visit on Monday.

The visit aims to foster strategic collaboration and explore innovative initiatives to improve Sarawak’s research and education landscape.

The delegation also engaged in discussions on academic partnerships, research collaborations, infectious disease detection, vaccine development and talent development initiatives.

The visit underscores Sarawak’s commitment to excellence and serves as a catalyst for transformative partnerships and socio-economic development.
