UKAS, MPHLG Strengthen Synergy to Enhance Public Information Delivery
KUCHING: Inter-agency collaboration continues to be strengthened as the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) paid a courtesy call to the Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak (MPHLG) to enhance the delivery of government policies and initiatives to the people.
The UKAS delegation, led by its Director Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan, met with the ministry’s Deputy Permanent Secretary Desmond Douglas Jerukan during the visit on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on discussing the direction of strategic collaboration between both parties, particularly in improving the effectiveness of disseminating information on government policies and initiatives to Sarawakians.
In addition, discussions also touched on current issues, including billboard-related concerns in several locations, as well as proposed allocations for repair works in the affected areas.
