Integrated Coordination Drives Readiness For Sarawakku Sayang Programme 2026 In Miri
MIRI: Preparations for the Sarawakku Sayang Programme 2026 in the Miri Division are being driven aggressively through integrated coordination involving multiple agencies, to ensure its implementation proceeds smoothly and delivers a high impact to the public.
Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration), Datu Felicia Tan Ya Hua, led a site visit to Miri Stadium to assess the level of preparedness in terms of logistics, technical arrangements and operations, as an initial step to strengthen planning for the large-scale programme.
The visit reflects the government’s proactive approach in ensuring comprehensive readiness, particularly in managing high-profile programmes in a systematic and well-organised manner.
Following the visit, she also chaired a coordination meeting at the Level 9 Meeting Room, Miri Resident’s Office, bringing together various relevant agencies to present progress reports and further detail their respective roles.
Among the main focuses were the proposed placement of a media centre at Miri Stadium near the VIP entrance to enhance coverage efficiency, as well as the coordination of strategic communication materials such as infographics and backdrops through collaboration between the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).
At the same time, UKAS has also been entrusted with determining the official media for interview sessions with the Premier of Sarawak, underscoring the importance of strategic and well-organised communication management.
The meeting, which ran from 11.30 am to 3.15 pm, will continue on 20 April to further refine implementation.
This strategic approach reflects the government’s continued commitment to ensuring that the Sarawakku Sayang Programme 2026 in Miri is not only carried out smoothly, but also delivers maximum impact to the community. -UKASnews
