Seberang Hilir Zone Aidilfitri Event Strengthens Community Ties In Darul Hana
KUCHING: The ongoing efforts of leaders to engage with the community continue to be strengthened through the hosting of the Seberang Hilir Zone Aidilfitri Gathering, which took place in a festive atmosphere at the Darul Hana Housing Estate on Saturday.

His presence clearly reflects a continuous commitment to engaging with the people at the grassroots level, while strengthening the relationship between leaders and the local community amidst a friendly and harmonious Aidilfitri celebration.
According to him, the ground-level approach through programmes such as this provides space for closer interaction with the public, thereby allowing leaders to gain a direct understanding of the needs and issues faced by the people.
The event is part of an Aidilfitri tour series by zone organised by the Pantai Damai Constituency (DUN) Service Centre, aimed at facilitating resident attendance and expanding the programme's reach to the local community.
In addition to strengthening community ties, the programme also serves as a platform to bolster unity among people from all walks of life, including the active involvement of youth and women in making the event a success.
In the meantime, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman also shared various Sarawak government initiatives to assist the people in facing cost-of-living challenges, including the provision of continuous aid and support for the well-being of the people.
