Datuk Abdullah Visits UKAS Photographer Following Successful Surgery
KUCHING: Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol took the time to visit Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) photographer, Jaed Tepus, who has successfully undergone surgery for intestinal cancer at the Sarawak General Hospital (HUS).
Arriving at HUS at approximately 4.00 pm on Friday, he was accompanied by several senior UKAS officers.
During the visit, Datuk Abdullah offered moral support to Jaed (60), encouraging him to remain patient and resilient in facing this challenge.
He also expressed his hope for Jaed’s full recovery and his eventual return to duty.
Before departing, Datuk Abdullah presented a contribution to help alleviate the burden on Jaed's family.
Additionally, the President of the Kuching Independent Journalists Association (PEWARTA) Peter Sibon, and representative of the UKAS Welfare Club Anwar Hanafi, also handed over contributions to him. -UKASnews
