Samarahan Development Project Driven More Aggressively, Many Projects To Be Tendered Soon
KOTA SAMARAHAN: More development projects in Kota Samarahan will begin the tendering process in the near future, reflecting aggressive development within the parliamentary constituency.
Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development and Member of Parliament for Kota Samarahan, Datuk Rubiah Wang, stated that a meeting was held to obtain the latest progress reports on development projects in the Samarahan Division, as well as to discuss issues and challenges faced in the implementation of each project.
She emphasised that continuous monitoring and effective coordination among all involved agencies are crucial to ensure that every project is executed according to the scheduled timeline.
“Meetings like this serve as a primary platform to identify problems at the implementation stage and subsequently find the best solutions to ensure that the people's interests remain protected.
“Close cooperation among all implementing agencies is highly necessary so that each development project can be carried out smoothly, orderly, and deliver a positive impact to the people,” she said.
She said this while chairing the Samarahan Division Development Projects Special Committee Meeting (Special DDC) No. 1/2026 with Samarahan Division technical agencies at the Sarawak RISDA Office Meeting Room in Kota Samarahan on Friday.
During the meeting, it was also informed that many development projects in the Samarahan Division will soon enter the tendering and implementation phases.
