KAPIT: The Kapit Division Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) 2026 programme highlighted its own uniqueness through the encouraging participation of young entrepreneurs showcasing various products born from their ideas and creativity.

Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki said that the participation of youth in the programme reflects a growing interest and potential in the field of entrepreneurship.

“The uniqueness shown in Kapit this time differs from other divisions because many young entrepreneurs have come forward with their own ideas in the business arena.

“We congratulate them on their success in presenting products in various business fields,” he said.

He said this when met by the media after completing the soft launch ceremony of the Kapit Division SKS 2026 programme at the Kapit Civic Centre on Friday.

Meanwhile, he is optimistic that the organisation of the Kapit Division SKS 2026 will be able to attract more than 10,000 visitors throughout the three-day programme.

“With the activities we are organising such as exhibitions, Konsert Rakyat, Kapit Kitchen, lucky draws and also sales stalls, we expect more than 10,000 visitors to attend to enliven the programme this time.

“In addition, the opening ceremony to be officiated by Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg on Saturday is also expected to be attended by 3,000 to 5,000 people,” he added.

The Kapit Division SKS 2026 programme will take place from 26 to 28 June with various activities including government agency exhibitions, local entrepreneur sales, Kapit Kitchen, Konsert Rakyat, lucky draws and various activities that benefit the local community. -UKASnews
