KUCHING: A total of 150 recipients were conferred the Sarawak State Honours by the Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, at the Investiture Ceremony of State Honours held at the Grand Hall, Astana Negeri Sarawak, here on Tuesday.
The presentation began with the Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (P.B.K), presented to 14 recipients, among them Bujang Rhaman Seli, Ezra Uda, Muhammad Dino Amid, Peleadzman Ahip, Tamida Da'adi, Dampa Long, Meehan Jorai, Petrick Linggie Taboh, Hamidah Halpi, Anne Anthony Lajinga, Caroline Chen Tze Yian, Dayang Morzanah Awang Haddy, Dorris Synia and Rabiah Zaidan.
This was followed by the Public Administration Medal, Pingat Perkhidmatan Bakti (P.P.B), conferred on 20 recipients including Angelico Francis Freddy Tiam, Awang Nazri Awang Saperi and Boggie Juntan, among others, followed by 11 individuals conferred the Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak Ahli Bintang Sarawak (A.B.S).
The ceremony continued with 21 recipients of the Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak Ahli Bintang Kenyalang (A.B.K), while the Public Administration Medal, Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (P.P.T), was conferred on 43 individuals.
In addition, 41 recipients were conferred the Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak Bentara Bintang Sarawak (B.B.S).
Accompanying Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi at the ceremony was his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
Also present were Sarawak Deputy Minister of Transport (Aviation and Roads) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Sarawak Deputy Minister of International Trade, Industry and Investment Datuk Dr Malcom Mussen Lamoh, Deputy Minister at the Sarawak Premier's Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya, Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration) Datu Felicia Tan Ya Hua, and heads of department. -UKASnews
