Cooperation Between Parents & Teachers Vital In Shaping Students' Character
BALAI RINGIN: Close cooperation between parents and teachers is essential in shaping students' character and curbing social issues among the younger generation.
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, who is also Balai Ringin Assemblyman, Datuk Snowdan Lawan, said that a strong relationship between both parties is also crucial to ensuring the welfare and education of children are continuously given proper attention.
“Close cooperation between parents and teachers is very important in shaping character and ensuring that the welfare and education of children are always prioritized,” he said.
He said this when speaking at the Majlis Merarau for Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Telagus Jerok at the Balai Ringin Mini Stadium here on Saturday.
Datuk Snowdan added that Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) play a key role in ensuring that all forms of school aid and requirements, including facilities and learning equipment, are utilised effectively for the benefit of the students.
He also emphasised that education serves as a crucial foundation for nurturing a knowledgeable, quality, and competitive generation for the future.
In line with this, Datuk Snowdan allocated RM15,000 through the Minor Rural Project (MRP) fund to the SK Telagus Jerok PIBG to help finance the school's annual activities.
In another development, he informed that the implementation of the clean water supply project costing a total of RM260 million in the Balai Ringin constituency continues to progress smoothly and is expected to be completed in early 2027. — UKASnews
