Sarawak Governor & Wife Share Proud Moment As Daughter Graduates From OUM
KUALA LUMPUR: The success of their beloved daughter, Sharifah Nong-Jasima, in completing her studies and receiving a Bachelor of Communication with Honours was a deeply meaningful moment for the Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
The couple attended the 31st Open University Malaysia (OUM) Convocation Ceremony at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to celebrate their daughter’s academic achievement.
The presence of Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah also reflected their family’s support for and appreciation of Sharifah Nong-Jasima’s educational accomplishment.
The couple were welcomed upon arrival by OUM Chancellor Tan Sri Datuk Seri Azman Hashim, OUM Board of Governors Chairman Datuk Paduka Professor Emeritus Dr Muhamad Awang, and OUM President and Vice-Chancellor Prof Dato’ Dr Ahmad Ezanee Awang.
Also present were close family members, including Sharifah Nuriel Barieyah, Muhammad Nur Hakeem, Tasnim and the couple’s granddaughter, Athena. -UKASnews
