Graduation Ceremony Marks New Chapter For Class Of 2025
BINTANGOR: The spirit of achievement filled Dewan Chen Ling Mei at SMK Kai Chung as students, parents and teachers gathered for the school’s 2025 Graduation Ceremony, officiated by the Meradong Assemblyman, Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing.
In his speech, Datuk Ding expressed his gratitude to the school for the invitation and extended congratulations to the graduating cohort for their perseverance and success throughout their secondary education journey.
“Today marks a meaningful milestone for every Form 5 student. After years of learning and challenges, this is the moment to celebrate your hard work, resilience and determination.
"This ceremony is not an end, but a new beginning, a step into a future full of opportunities and responsibilities,” he said.
He also took the opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of teachers, describing them as “candles that burn themselves to light the way for others.”
Datuk Ding praised their dedication in shaping future generations, while also recognising parents and guardians for their constant support and sacrifices behind every student’s success.
Addressing the graduates, he reminded them to continue learning with passion and courage while upholding strong values and character.
“Success is not merely measured by exam results, but by the effort, spirit and integrity you carry within. You are the nation’s hope, so use the knowledge you have gained to build a better future for yourselves, your community and the country,” he said.
Datuk Ding then congratulated all graduates and officially officiated the SMK Kai Chung Graduation Ceremony 2025, encouraging them to step forward with confidence and determination towards greater achievements ahead.
The event was also attended by SMK Kai Chung principal Nguang Seng, Deputy District Education Officer of Meradong Nasaruddin Ibrahim, Chairman of the School Management Board Dato’ Thomas Ung Sing Ung, and PIBG Chairman Abdul Karim Abdul Rahman. -UKASnews
