Sarawak Governor Receives Courtesy Visit From RESPA
KUCHING: Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, received a courtesy visit from a delegation of Senior Retired Malaysian Police Officers (RESPA), at the Astana Negeri Sarawak on Thursday.
The courtesy visit was led by RESPA Chairman, Dato Meor Chek Hussein Mahayuddin which marked RESPA's first courtesy visit to Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi since he was appointed as Sarawak Governor.
Apart from delivering their congratulations to the Head of State, the visit also aimed to obtain views and advice from Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi to strengthen RESPA's direction and future endeavours.
Also present during this visit were RESPA Deputy Presidents, Dato Razali Basri and Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee, Vice-Presidents Dato Ahmad Nadzer Nordin and Dato Abdullah Ahmad Abdul Hamid, Honorary Treasurer Dato Farid Mahmud, Honorary Acting Secretary General Tan Kim Chan as well as Committee Members Dato Arshad Abd Jalil, Dr. Leong Yue Khau, Arumugam Ramasamy and Dr. Saadiah Kadir. -UKASnews
