KUCHING: Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd (BIMB) handed over business zakat amounting to RM915,000 to the Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) for the financial year 2024 at the Satria Pertiwi Complex here on Friday.

Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg was present to witness the handover of the business zakat.

The handover of the zakat was officiated by BIMB Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Mohd Muazzam Mohamad to TBS General Manager, Datu Abg Mohd Shibli Abg Mohd Nailie.

Also present during the handover session were TBS Head of Operations Sector, Mohd Yusree Mohd Zain, BIMB Group Chief Financial and Social Officer, Mohd Nazri Chik, Group Chief Business Officer, Sharifah Sarah Syed Mohamad Tahir, BIMB East Malaysia Regional Director, Kameri Edi, and BIMB Sarawak State Director, Ahmad Herni Benjamin. -UKASnews
