Youth Urged To Seize Opportunities, Build Confidence & Unlock Potential
LUNDU: Sarawak’s youths are encouraged to fully utilise various programmes and platforms provided by the Sarawak government to strengthen their potential and better prepare themselves for the challenges of the modern world.
Opar Assemblyman, Billy Sujang, emphasised that youth must be bold in seizing opportunities through the training, exposure and information offered under the state’s initiatives.
He said the government has established many platforms to help youth develop their skills, knowledge and self-confidence.
“Take part in every programme, training session and exposure activity as an opportunity to prepare yourselves for an increasingly challenging world.
“Use platforms like this to access accurate information and build your potential. Many young people have great potential, especially in the digital field,” he said during the UKAS Outreach Programme 2025: Empowering Undergraduates @ Centexs Lundu on Thursday.
Billy added that Sarawak needs youth who are not only well-informed but capable of creating value within their communities.
“We need youth who not only know information, but are able to create value. This is very important for the future of Sarawak,” he stressed.
He added that one-day programmes such as those organised by UKAS are not merely to fill participants’ time but serve as a starting point in shaping confident, disciplined and visionary young individuals.
