KUCHING: The lively atmosphere of Kuching Comic-Con was on full display as the event venue came alive with colours, creativity and fan engagement, reflecting the strong appeal of pop culture among diverse communities.
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (Tourism) Sarawak, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, conducted a walkabout at the event, visiting booths across the hall and engaging with local artists, illustrators, creative entrepreneurs and hobby communities.
During the walkabout, Datuk Sebastian took time to interact with exhibitors and visitors, observing firsthand the range of creative works on display and the enthusiasm of fans participating in various activities throughout the venue.
The event hall was filled with anime characters, cosplay displays and creative installations, presenting a vibrant scene that highlighted the shared passion and unity within the Comic-Con community.
