This dinner not only brought together senior Sarawak police officers who had retired from service, but also served as a space for Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and friends to relax and reminisce on their time in the Royal Malaysian Police Force.
Police retirees are a community asset with a wealth of experience.
Their contributions in ensuring the stability and security of Sarawak, especially during the communist insurgency era, have been an important foundation for the prosperity and harmony enjoyed by the state today.
The Sarawak Governor also expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to all the friends who took the time to attend the dinner, further strengthening the bonds of long established friendship. -UKASnews
