SUKSAR IV: Compliance With Organising Standards & Quality Control Continues To Be Enhanced
LUBOK ANTU: The level of preparedness and compliance with organising standards for sports continues to be emphasised to ensure the smooth and credibility of the organisation of the Sarawak Games (SUKSAR) IV 2026.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development of Sarawak and Chairman of SUKSAR IV 2026, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, conducted a working visit to the sepak takraw competition arena at the Lubok Antu Sports Complex Hall on Friday to assess the level of facility preparation.
During the visit, he examined technical aspects including the layout of the arena, athlete facilities, security and competition management to ensure that the competition can be conducted professionally, fairly and safely.
According to him, thorough preparation is an important element in ensuring that SUKSAR 2026 not only runs smoothly, but also becomes the best platform in unearthing new talents in Sarawak sepak takraw, especially in the effort to select athletes for higher levels including the 2026 Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
Also present during this visit were Lubok Antu Member of Parliament Roy Angau Ginkoi, Sri Aman Division Deputy Resident Charlie Keling, Lubok Antu District Officer Aloi Ejau and Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier Kua Jack Seng.-UKASnews
