Sarawak Secretary Reviews Government Development Projects In Saratok & Kabong
SARATOK: Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki conducted a working visit to Saratok and Kabong Districts on Thursday to review various development projects and proposed government infrastructure development projects.
During the visit, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar listened to a briefing on the proposed construction site for the Saratok New District Office as well as the proposed quarters for government employees.
In addition, he was also informed about the proposed construction of Anjung Kalaka which is poised to provide additional facilities to the public.
He also managed to visit the Roban Sub-District Office to review the proposed construction site for the new Sub-District Office.
The visit continued to Kabong to review the Kabong New Hall development project as well as the implementation of the construction of the new Kabong District Office, which is located near the road to Tanjong Kembang.
Also present on this visit were Kalaka Assemblyman Mohamad Duri, Krian Assemblyman Friday Belik, Betong Division Resident Datu Richard Michael Abunawas, Saratok District Officer Mohamad Dino Amit, Kabong District Officer Tahir Mohd Sharee as well as government officials and District Office staff.
This working visit aims to ensure the planning and implementation of development projects in Saratok and Kabong Districts are in line with the state government's wishes and meet the needs of the people in the area. -UKASnews
