LIMBANG: Various basic facilities in Kampung Bukit Kota continue to be improved in stages, including upgrading infrastructure and public facilities for the comfort of local residents.
Deputy Minister for Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail said that each project implementation will be monitored continuously to ensure that it truly meets the needs of the people and provides long-term benefits.
"This effort is to ensure that every need of the people is given attention and that the projects implemented have a positive impact on the residents," he said when speaking at the Bedudun Ramadan Programme in Kampung Bukit Kota, on Saturday.
At the event, the Bukit Kota Assemblyman also approved the contribution of new carpets to Surau Setia Bakti following the request of the Village Head, as an effort to improve the comfort of worshippers, especially during the month of Ramadan.
He expressed hope that the residents would continue to enrich the surau with congregational prayers and recitation of the Quran to brighten the Ramadan atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the Bukit Kota Service Centre also presented donations to 10 recipients as a sign of compassion for the underprivileged. -UKASnews
