Upcoming Borneo International Halal Showcase 2026 To Highlight Sarawak’s Halal Developments
KUCHING: Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan today chaired a special meeting of the Borneo International Halal Showcase (BIHAS) 2026 Organising Committee to discuss the latest developments and the direction of the programme’s implementation.
The meeting provided an opportunity for Committee Members to present details of the programme's content and to obtain his views and advice as Chairman.
In the meeting, various key aspects were discussed, including the hosting concept and promotional strategies to ensure BIHAS 2026 achieves its set targets.
Datuk Amar Awang Tengah also emphasised the importance of coordination between agencies and logistical readiness to guarantee smooth implementation.
He also reminded that BIHAS 2026 must serve as a platform that not only showcases halal products and services but also acts as a strategic arena to attract investment, expand market networks, and strengthen the competitiveness of local entrepreneurs.
