Sarawak Governor Receives Courtesy Call From Sarawak Premier Ahead Of State Cabinet Meeting
KUCHING: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, received a courtesy call from the Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, at his official residence here on Thursday.
The visit formed part of the established official procedure conducted periodically prior to the State Cabinet Meeting (MMKN), in accordance with administrative practice and the provisions of the Sarawak Constitution.
During the nearly hour-long meeting, the Sarawak Premier presented a briefing on the papers for consideration, as well as the key agenda items to be tabled at the upcoming MMKN meeting.
Both leaders also exchanged views on current developments concerning the implementation of state government policies and initiatives, including strategic matters related to development and the wellbeing of the people of Sarawak.-UKASnews
