1,300 Congregants Enliven Aidilfitri Prayers At Masjid Darul Aman Sebangan
SEBUYAU: A sense of gratitude and joy filled Masjid Darul Aman Sebangan as approximately 1,300 congregants gathered to perform the Aidilfitri sunat prayers on Saturday.
The prayers were also attended by Minister for Utility and Telecommunication as well as Sebuyau Assemblyman, Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi.
His arrival at 7.30 am was warmly welcomed by the congregation, which comprised people from various walks of life, including local leaders and residents from the surrounding areas.
The Aidilfitri sermon was delivered by Ustaz Hamid Hoodi, who emphasised the values of gratitude, unity and reflection in community life.
Immediately after the prayers, Dato Sri Julaihi took time to mingle with the congregants and delivered a brief address highlighting the importance of maintaining harmony, mutual respect and a strong spirit of togetherness.
He also encouraged the community to continue strengthening silaturahim and to play their respective roles in advancing the Sebuyau area so that it continues to progress and prosper.
The event concluded with a session of handshakes and light refreshments, further adding to the festive atmosphere of the Aidilfitri celebration.
