Aidilfitri Visits Strengthen Ties, Bolster Unity In Betong
DEBAK: The practice of visiting one another in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri continues to be an important channel in strengthening social ties and bolstering the spirit of unity between leaders and the community.
Member of Parliament for Betong, Dato Dr. Richard Rapu, conducted a visit to the residence of the Sarawak Deputy Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development and Saribas Assemblyman Datuk Mohammad Razi Sitam at Kampung Bungei on Saturday.
His arrival was warmly welcomed by Datuk Mohammad Razi in conjunction with the Aidilfitri open house being held at his residence.
The atmosphere of the visit took place in full harmony and goodwill, reflecting the tradition of visiting that is a hallmark of Sarawak's multi-ethnic society, particularly during the festive season.
