Satok Aidilfitri Open House Gathers 2,000 Visitors
KUCHING: The 2026 Aidilfitri Open House for the Satok constituency took place in a lively atmosphere with the attendance of approximately 2,000 visitors from various races and backgrounds at the Hikmah Exchange and Exhibition Centre here yesterday.
The event, organised by the Satok Service Centre, ran from 10 AM to 4:30 PM and was hosted by the Sarawak Deputy Minister for Utility and Telecommunication (Sarawak Energy Berhad and PETROS) and Satok Assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.
The celebration was further graced by the presence of Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Prof. Dr Sim Kui Hian, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, and Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
Also in attendance were the Sarawak's Deputy Cabinet Ministers and several State Assemblymen (ADUN).
Guests in attendance not only had the opportunity to socialise with local leaders but also enjoyed various special Hari Raya delicacies provided.
Among the featured attractions were traditional dishes and an assortment of cakes and pastries that reflect the cultural diversity of the Sarawak community.
