Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Continues Aidilfitri Visits In Sibu
SIBU: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, continued his series of visits in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations by meeting community leaders and residents here today.
Accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, their visit began at the residence of Temenggong Dato Sri Wan Hamid Edruce on Jalan Jasmin at 10 am.
The couple’s arrival was warmly received by Dato Sri Wan Hamid and his wife, Datin Sri Sharifah Zaidah Syed Abdul Aziz, along with family members and local residents who were present to enliven the occasion.
Also accompanying the Sarawak Governor were the Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Hamzah, and his wife, Datin Sri Zuraini Abdul Jaabar, as well as Katibas Assemblyman Lidam Assan.
Among those present were Sibu Division Resident Abang Mohamad Porkan Abang Budiman, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming, and Temenggong Stanley Geramong Bandar.
The visit then continued to the residence of former Igan Member of Parliament, Dato Sri Abdul Wahab Dolah, on Jalan Kampung Nangka at around 11 am.
In addition to being welcomed by Dato Sri Abdul Wahab and his wife, Datin Sri Roesah Adai, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi’s presence was also received by Ta Ann Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Datuk K.H Wong, as well as hundreds of residents who took the opportunity to meet and greet him. -UKASnews
