Aidilfitri Reinforces Spirit Of Leadership Consensus & Cohesion In Sarawak
KUCHING: The Hari Raya spirit continues to serve as a catalyst for strengthening consensus and leadership cohesion in Sarawak as the Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, paid a Hari Raya visit to the official residence of Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg at Kompleks Satria Pertiwi on Tuesday evening.
The visit was not merely a Hari Raya tradition, but also reflected reflected the close ties between state leadership institutions in an atmosphere of goodwill, harmony, and mutual respect.
Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the Sarawak Premier, accompanied by his daughter, Dayang Norjihan Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari as well as other members of the family.
Also present to welcome them were Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Deputy Minister for Utility (Sarawak Energy and PETROS) Datuk Ibrahim Baki and Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Commission and Islamic Affairs) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
The two-hour visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views on various current issues, thereby strengthening synergy and cohesion among state leadership for the stability and prosperity of Sarawak. -UKASnews
