110 Civil Servants Receive Loyal Service Medals In Limbang
LIMBANG: 110 civil servants were conferred the ‘Pingat Perkhidmatan Setia’ or Loyal Service Medals at a ceremony held here on Friday.
The ceremony was graced by Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg.
This marked the second ceremony organised for 2026, involving recipients from 13 departments and agencies comprising nine state government departments and four federal government agencies.
Leading the list of recipients was Limbang Division Resident Unus Tambi who has served with dedication and loyalty for 33 years.
Also honoured was Kalthom Ahmad from the Sarawak State Immigration Department who recorded 37 years of service.
Other recipients with 33 years of service included Maria Cotilla Louise @ Rozita Kulai from the Limbang Division Resident’s Office, Christina Joannes Antas from the Sarawak Public Works Department, and Ahad Tusin from the Sarawak Veterinary Services Department.
Two recipients from the Sarawak State Health Department, Roslan Abu Samah and Lollyta Simun, were also recognised for their respective 33 years of service in the public sector.
Earlier, the Sarawak Premier performed Friday prayers at the Jannatul Firdaus Mosque upon arrival from Limbang Airport.
Also present were Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, and Director of the Human Resource Development and Management Unit Datu Sharifah Rohana Datu Wan Alwi. -UKASnews
