SPK & Road Infrastructure Issues Highlighted During Samarahan Development Planning
KOTA SAMARAHAN: Issues related to the Skim Pembesaran Kampung (SPK) and road infrastructure continue to be key priorities in development planning in the Kota Samarahan area.
Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development as well as Kota Samarahan Member of Parliament Datuk Rubiah Wang said structured and data-driven planning is important to ensure development projects truly benefit the people.
She said issues related to the SPK in several areas of Kota Samarahan require immediate action and comprehensive solutions from the relevant authorities.
In addition, she stressed that the proposed construction of a new road is also being given serious attention, particularly in the area surrounding Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Sri Samarahan which is expected to commence operations in the near future.
She clarified that efficient road infrastructure planning is essential to ensure smooth traffic flow and to facilitate access for residents, particularly students and members of the school community.
“Such early planning is essential to prevent congestion and to ensure that basic facilities are provided in tandem with the increasing development in the area,” she said during a discussion held here on Monday.
Datuk Rubiah further expressed hope that all plans discussed will be implemented smoothly and effectively for the well being and comfort of the Kota Samarahan residents.
