Sarawak Presents Public Sector Transformation During The National Innovation Programme
Shah Alam: The Sarawak Government through the Sarawak Transformation and Innovation Unit (STIU) under the Sarawak Premier’s Department took part in the Public Sector Innovation Festival 2026 organised by the Public Service Department (JPA), which was held at the MBSA Convention Centre.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the programme brings together high impact public sector innovations from across the country and serves as a strategic platform for the sharing of best practices in service delivery.
Sarawak is emphasising a structured transformation approach implemented with a focus on strengthening governance, enhancing work processes and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
This effort is intended to demonstrate a comprehensive transformation framework, facilitate the sharing of practical implementation experiences and strengthen the direction of sustainable public sector reform.
The delegation from the Sarawak Premier’s Department led by STIU Director Superi Awang Said represented Sarawak in the exhibition held on 14 April 2026.
Sarawak’s innovation approach focuses on system building, governance strengthening and work culture empowerment to ensure consistent and impactful implementation.
This participation reflects the continued commitment of the Sarawak government to strengthening public service delivery through a structured, focused and results-oriented approach.
Also present at the event were Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and Director General of Public Service Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz. -UKASnews
