Samarah Division Continues To Flourish Amidst Rapid Development
KOTA SAMARAHAN: The continuous implementation of rapid development has brought about a significant transformation in Kota Samarahan’s landscape, which is now increasingly evolving into an urban-centric area.
Deputy Minister for Rural and Regional Development and Member of Parliament for Kota Samarahan, Datuk Rubiah Wang, stated that this progress is the result of various development initiatives that have a direct impact on the people’s wellbeing.
“This success is the result of the diligent efforts of the government and agencies under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) to ensure that Samarahan continues to develop as an advanced and dynamic urban centre,” she said.
She said this while officiating the 2026 Aidilfitri Greeting Ceremony at the Kampung Moyan Laut Community Hall in Asajaya on Saturday.
According to her, the ongoing changes also reflect the government's continuous efforts to expand access to basic amenities, infrastructure, and economic opportunities for the local residents.
In the meantime, Datuk Rubiah emphasised the importance of education as the core foundation for nurturing a high-quality future generation.
In this regard, she urged parents to continue playing their role as the 'backbone' in supporting their children's learning.
“Education is not solely the responsibility of teachers at school, but requires continuous support from parents at home,” she remarked. -UKASnews
