Working Visit Strengthens Healthcare Services In Daro

According to her, the on-the-ground approach provides her ministry with the opportunity to evaluate the people’s current needs more closely while also identifying aspects that require immediate enhancement.
She explained that among the main focuses is the strengthening of the healthcare delivery system through the development of a new health clinic which is currently being carried out to provide more comprehensive treatment services.
“This effort is important to ensure every healthcare facility and service provided is fully aligned with the needs of the people and capable of enhancing their wellbeing,” she said.
She said this when met by reporters during the Borneo Sarawak Health Tour (Series 2) at Daro Hospital on Tuesday.
Also present were Igan Member of Parliament Ahmad Johnie Zawawi and Daro Assemblyman Dr Safiee Ahmad.
In the same development, Dato Hanifah stated that issues related to clean water supply had been identified as among the main challenges faced by the hospital, affecting daily requirements and hygiene aspects in the provision of treatment.
Accordingly, she stressed that the ministry’s priority is to ensure every healthcare facility including supporting infrastructure remains in optimal condition to guarantee quality services for the people.
