AI-Based Digital Marketing Empowers Serian Entrepreneurs
SERIAN: Efforts to empower the local entrepreneurial community continue to be strengthened as 25 participants took part in the ‘Basic Entrepreneurship Course: Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Digital Marketing’ held over two days at the Sarawak Government Administrative Centre Hall in Serian Division from 12 to 13 May.
In a statement, it said programme was organised by the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment Sarawak (MINTRED) in collaboration with the Serian Divisional Entrepreneur Development Council (MPUB) to enhance entrepreneurs’ knowledge and skills in leveraging artificial intelligence technology to strengthen digital marketing strategies.
“Throughout the course, participants were exposed to various aspects of digital marketing, including basic strategies, current trends and the use of AI applications in producing more creative and effective marketing content.
“Apart from understanding marketing methods through social media platforms, participants were also guided on techniques to analyse the effectiveness of implemented marketing strategies to help improve customer reach and sales performance,” the statement said.
The statement added that a practical training approach was also a key focus of the programme, with participants given the opportunity to carry out hands-on exercises after each learning session.
The method aimed to ensure participants not only understood the theories but were also able to directly apply the skills learned in their respective businesses.
“The organisation of the course reflects the state government’s continued commitment to strengthening the competitiveness of local entrepreneurs through the utilisation of digital technology and AI in line with current economic developments,” it added.
Meanwhile, to make it easier for the public to obtain information related to entrepreneurship development programmes throughout Sarawak, MINTRED through the Sarawak Entrepreneur Development Coordination Committee (SEDCC) initiative has developed the Sarawak Entrepreneur Database System (ENBASE) platform.
The platform was established to help the public access various entrepreneurship programmes, training and assistance offered by state and federal government agencies in a more convenient and organised manner. -UKASnews
