Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Continues Gawai Ngabang Visits In Betong
BETONG: Sarawak Deputy Premier and Bukit Saban Assemblyman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas continued his Gawai Ngabang visits to several longhouses in the Betong area on Thursday.
The visit, which was also joined by Betong Member of Parliament Dato Dr Richard Rapu, covered six longhouses, namely Rumah Panjang Selangking, Rumah Panjang Penyulok, Rumah Panjang Sungai Langit, Rumah Panjang Serudit A, Rumah Panjang Luban Ulu and Rumah Panjang Lempaong.
The delegation of leaders received a warm welcome from local residents who were celebrating Hari Gawai Dayak in a festive atmosphere filled with community spirit and togetherness.
The visit provided Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah with the opportunity to interact closely with residents and extend festive greetings to the local community.
At the same time, he also had the opportunity to hear firsthand the views and needs of the people to ensure that planned development initiatives continue to benefit the rakyat.
