Sarawak Secretary Inspects Preparations For Al-Sultan Abdullah Mosque Opening Ceremony
SEMATAN: Sarawak Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, inspected final preparations ahead of the Official Opening Ceremony of the Al-Sultan Abdullah Mosque in Telok Melano, which is scheduled to take place on August 21.
This visit also included an inspection of the mosque's condition and a briefing regarding preparations and coordination to ensure the event runs smoothly.
He also performed Friday prayers alongside the congregation before continuing his visit to the Telok Melano–Temajok Border Crossing Post to inspect facilities and the current situation in the border area.
The delegation subsequently inspected the Lundu District Administrative Centre Construction Project site to view the progress of the project.
Also accompanying the visit were Director of the Sarawak Protocol, Ceremonial and Event Management Unit Datu Hamdan Sharbini and Lundu District Officer Zulkarnain Ismail. — UKASnews
