DDC, DAC Matu Expedite Actions To Deal With Projects Facing Issues
MATU: The meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) and the District Action Committee (DAC) of Matu served as a platform to strengthen inter-agency coordination to ensure development projects in the district are carried out according to plan.
Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya said the meeting focused on projects facing issues or delays.
"Each implementing agency is required to present the latest status of their respective projects, including work progress, problems occurring in the field as well as challenges that may affect project implementation," he said.
He said this while chairing the DDC and DAC Matu Meeting, here, on Tuesday.
In the same meeting, the causes of delays and identified issues were also examined to enable settlement actions to be coordinated with relevant agencies.
According to the Jemoreng Assemblyman, continuous coordination between implementing agencies, community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) and the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) is important to ensure that every development issue can be dealt with in a timely manner.
Datuk Dr Juanda noted that sharing information at the district level also allows all parties to be aware of the status of projects more clearly, facilitating monitoring and follow-up actions.
Also present was Matu District Officer Hamidah Halpi. -UKASnews
