BAU: The upgrading project for the agricultural road and village road in the Kampung Bobak Sajong, Singai area, covering approximately two kilometres at a cost of RM1.6 million, has been fully completed.
The site handover ceremony for the completed Greater Kuching Development Coordination Agency (GKCDA) project was witnessed by Sarawak Deputy Minister for Transport (Marine and Riverine) who is also Tasik Biru Assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep, at Kampung Bobak Sajong, here on Wednesday.
It is understood that the project, implemented by the Bau District Public Works Department (JKR), began on 20 October 2025 and was fully completed on 19 June 2026.
The scope of work involved road widening, utility relocation, drainage works and the installation of road accessories to enhance user convenience and safety. -UKASnews
