MERADONG: The operating hours of the SESCO Kiosk Machine in Bintangor will be adjusted to 8am to 5pm to make it easier for residents to access services related to electricity supply.
Meradong Assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing said the adjustment was agreed upon following discussions with SESCO Sarikei Retail Manager Kenneth Chung during a courtesy visit to the Meradong Service Centre on Thursday.
He said the move was important to ensure the facility was more accessible and able to meet the needs of residents in Bintangor and surrounding areas.
“This kiosk machine facility enables the public to manage various electricity supply-related matters more quickly without having to rely entirely on conventional service counters.
“The change in operating hours is expected to improve users’ experience and provide greater convenience for residents who conduct transactions during normal working hours,” he said.
Datuk Ding also expressed his appreciation to SESCO Sarikei for its commitment and cooperation in improving utility service facilities in the area.
He added that close cooperation between elected representatives and service provider agencies was important to ensure the needs and well-being of the community in the Meradong constituency continued to receive attention. -UKASnews
