Sarawak Secretary Conducts Working Visit To Betong & Sri Aman Divisions
BETONG: Sarawak Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki conducted a working visit to Betong and Sri Aman Divisions to inspect the condition of District Office facilities, Sub-District Offices as well as new sites for the construction of quarters and district offices that have been approved by the Sarawak Government.
The visit included visits to several locations including the Debak Sub-District Office, Nanga Budu Sub-District Office, Pusa District Office and Maludam Sub-District Office.
The main focus of the inspection was to assess the condition of existing buildings, office space as well as internet and Wi-Fi access facilities in the area.
In addition, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar also spent time interacting with officers and staff at each office visited to obtain direct feedback on daily operational challenges, including maintenance needs, infrastructure improvements and local issues that require immediate attention.
He stressed that a conducive working environment, stable internet networks and organised project planning make up the foundation to ensure efficient delivery of public services, especially in rural areas.
Also participating in the working visit were Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration), Datu Buckland Bangik, Director of the Sarawak Civil Service Digitalisation Unit, Datu Grace Huong Siew Hung, Director of the Administration Unit, Rusmaliza Mat Darus, Director of the Sarawak Security and Enforcement Unit, Abdul Wahab Rahim as well as senior officers from the Sarawak Premier's Department. -UKASnews
