BETONG: The Majlis Anugerah Pelajar Cemerlang SMK Ulu Layar 2025 celebrated outstanding academic achievers, officiated by Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak and Assemblyman for Layar, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu.

Datuk Gerald expressed pride in the achievements of the students, acknowledging the strong collaboration between teachers, parents and the community.

“I am very proud and I congratulate the parents and teachers for guiding the students until they achieved excellent results,” he said.

He added that the day marked an important moment for families and the school community.

“Today we are grateful to God because we are here to celebrate and witness our students receiving their excellence awards for 2025.”

Datuk Gerald reminded parents and educators that academic success requires continuous cooperation.

“This success is the result of the joint efforts of teachers, the community and parents in providing education to the children in this school. We must continue this performance for the success of our children in the future.”
