SINGAPORE: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi made an official visit to the Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (STATOS) on Thursday.
They were accompanied by Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapa’ee and his wife Datin Dr Haniza Zainal Abidin, as well as Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia Sarawak Regional Office Fenny Nuli.
Also joining the visit were the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore Dato’ Indera Dr Azfar Mohamad Mustafar and his wife Datin Indera Che Norhayati Soib.
The arrival of the Sarawak delegation was welcomed by Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Operation) Datu Hii Chang Kee who also serves as one of the Directors of STATOS.
He then led them through the gallery which showcases an impressive range of Sarawak’s finest offerings including food products, handicrafts, agricultural goods and lifestyle items.
Chairman of STATOS Tan Sri Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani was also present to accompany the delegation and provided an overview of the efforts of STATOS to strengthen business networks, boost exports and expand the market reach of Sarawak-made products in Singapore. -UKASnews
