KUCHING: The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar together with his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi will officiate the closing ceremony and witness the final match of the Yayasan Sarawak Gold Cup Football Championship 2025, scheduled to take place at Stadium Sarawak on 29 November.

This was conveyed following a courtesy call and the presentation of the official invitation to Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah by the Organising Committee delegation at his official residence in Kasuma Resort on Wednesday.

The courtesy call was led by Sarawak Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who also provided a detailed briefing on the organisation of the championship.

Also present were Sarawak Foundation Director Datu Mohamad Junaidi Mohidin and Director of the Sarawak State Education Department Omar Mahli. -UKASnews
