SARIBAS: The official opening of Masjid Darul Ibadah Kampung Medang served as a symbol of Muslim unity and community strengthening, as it was officiated in an atmosphere of gratitude alongside a Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri gathering that drew approximately 400 local residents.
The ceremony was officiated by Sarawak Deputy Minister for Community Wellbeing Development and Saribas Assemblyman Datuk Mohammad Razi Sitam in the presence of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Betong, Dato Dr Richard Rapu.

“This mosque serves as a place for worship, as well as a centre for Muslim unity and the social development of the community,” he said.
He also reminded the community to practice thriftiness in facing current economic challenges.
