Sarawak To Host Milestone AGG Carnival 2026 With MAGGA National Series 1
KUCHING: Sarawak will host a national-level Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) competition on 25 to 26 April 2026 at Dewan Sa’ati, SUPP Headquarters here, featuring approximately 300 gymnasts and delegations from across Malaysia.
According to a statement, the event is organised by the Sarawak Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Association (SAGGA) and sanctioned by the Malaysian Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Association (MAGGA).
“The programme includes the National AGG Development (NAD) Programme Competition, the International Competition Rules (IFAGG) Programme Competition, and a special AGG training workshop with Malaysia Junior Mixed Team gymnasts, which also introduces the Mixed Team Programme aimed at strengthening athlete development and elevating technical standards,” it said.
The Sarawak AGG Carnival 2026 and MAGGA National Series 1 aims to strengthen Malaysia’s AGG development pathway through structured competition, grading systems, and technical exposure.
“This supports long-term athlete development and strengthens opportunities for ‘Anak Sarawak’ to grow and excel in the sport,” the statement said. -UKASnews
